Is your jerky gluten free?

Yes! All of our whole muscle bison jerky and bison bites are gluten free

Is your bison grass-fed and finished?

Yes! This means we source bison that are never fed grain. Bison that only eat grass throughout their life produce leaner meat and have higher concentrations of Omega 3's making it a heart healthy choice.

What is the shelf life of your jerky?

Our whole muscle jerky and bites have a 9 month shelf life from the date of manufacture.

What preserves the jerky if it has no preservatives?

We use a combination of different practices to ensure our jerky stays fresh and safe. We use honey, sea salt and vinegar to help cure the meat before we dry it to a water activity level that is low enough to prevent any bacterial growth. Since we do not add any additives to preserve our jerky please be sure to refrigerate it after opening.

does the jerky need to be refrigerated?

Since we do not use any artificial preservatives in our jerky, it is best to refrigerate it if you do not eat it the day you open it.
