Our whole muscle jerky is made with 100% grass-fed and finished bison from Wild Idea Buffalo. What drew us to Wild Idea wasn't simply exceptional bison - it was a shared belief that how an animal lives, how it's harvested, and how the land is cared for all shape the food that ends up on our tables. Their humane field harvest practices are designed to reduce stress compared to conventional industrial systems. Their bison roam freely across the prairie, and their approach to restoring the land and honoring the animal is one we deeply respect and are proud to support. For us, that matters. Because the way an animal is raised, harvested, and respected helps shape the final product.

Regenerative Organic Certified® Bison

Regenerative Organic Certified® represents one of the highest standards in agriculture, bringing together healthy soil, animal welfare, and the well being of the people who steward the land. Today, our Aegean flavor features ROC® bison from Wild Idea Buffalo. Because regenerative organic bison supply remains limited and seasonal, it is harder to source consistently at scale. As availability grows, we hope to expand our ROC offerings over time while staying honest about what each product uses.

Our Bites come from Creekside Ranch in Darby, Montana, just minutes from our facility. Creekside is the ranch that helped inspire this business in the first place. Their bison are pasture raised, 100% grass-fed and finished, and never confined. They raise their animals with care, integrity, and respect for life, which makes them a natural partner for the products we are proud to share.
